Baldwin Yacht Club Cruising Guide

Essex Connecticut

Established in 1948 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, the Baldwin Yacht Club provides a safe, fun cruising and casual racing experience for active boaters. We have a variety of member moorings and a full event calendar that includes dozens of ports in the Eastern and Western Long Island Sound region, and extending eastward to Rhode Island waters, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Cape Cod and up to Boston.

BYC maintains member only transient moorings, which may be used by members first-come, first-served for up to a week at a time.

Regular and Regular Provisional Members can view even more details about our moorings in the published BYC Program Book.

Connecticut moorings include: Hamburg Cove, Mason's Island, North Cove and Stonington.

New York moorings include: Montauk and West Harbor.

Rhode Island moorings include: Block Island
