Baldwin Yacht Club has an active club racing program for “cruising” sailors in many events. The year starts off with Dyer Dhow dinghy racing during our Commissioning at the Mystic Seaport Memorial Day weekend. There are six races for juniors, women, men and combined teams with both keeper and perpetual trophies. During the summer sailing season, we typically hold a race at four various events and provide both keeper and perpetual trophies for the winners. Our annual Summer Cruise often includes a Point-to-Point racing series with keeper trophies.

Additionally, the Club recognizes special sailing accomplishments of members throughout the year with perpetual trophies awarded by the Board of Governors at year end. Our more serious racing members participate in Off Soundings and other ECSA sponsored races throughout the summer. By virtue of its ECSA member club status, a Baldwin Yacht Club sailor with a current PHRF certificate from ECSA can participate in these races.
